Buch- und Offsetdruckerei Haeuser KG: BBL advises Haeuser KG on restructuring and sale

In 2022, WKS Druckholding from Wassenberg took over the Cologne-based book and offset printing concern Haeuser KG, which successfully completed restructuring of the company. Legal advisors from BBL, along with restructuring experts from Tradizio, supported Haeuser KG in their negotiations with banks and suppliers, and in implementation of comparisons and operational restructuring measures. The reasons for the economic difficulties were connected to the Corona pandemic and the resulting lack of orders. Ultimately, the restructuring was brought to a successful conclusion through the sale of the company.

Haeuser KG was founded in 1922 and is a fully integrated printing company whose operations include sheet-fed offset printing, digital printing and post-press. In addition to creating a wide variety of print products and services, Haeuser KG also runs the well-established online shop DruckDiscount24.de. The company currently employs 160 people.

The WKS Group is one of the largest print and media service providers in German-speaking Europe and currently employs 815 people at six different locations in Germany.
