Steffen Schneider has worked as a lawyer in the field of insolvency administration and providing advice in crisis situations for over 20 years. He advises national and international clients on insolvency and restructuring, including companies, creditors, bondholders, banks, shareholders, management and supervisory boards. His focus is on out-of-court restructuring of corporations and restructuring through insolvency proceedings, specifically through insolvency plans in self-administration proceedings and protective shield proceedings. When doing so he analyses and models different restructuring scenarios in advance, both legally and financially. In addition, he offers support in M&A transactions in crisis. He defends against liability claims on shareholders, managers and supervisory boards, as well as the restructuring of banks.
