Spedition Graf: Markus Birkmann guides self-administration insolvency of Spedition Graf

The freight transport company Graf-Transporte Internationale Spedition GmbH filed for insolvency under self-administration in mid-March 2020. The background to the action was liquidity bottlenecks due to a lack of sufficient incomings to cover running costs. BBL partner Markus Birkmann, in tandem with Dr Rouven Quick, became the general administrative representative. During the course of this action, the company was able to prepare itself for the future and found itself once again in the position where it could start covering its costs. It also managed to retain almost all employees. In March 2021, the court rubber stamped the insolvency plan, which allowed for proceedings to be terminated at the end of March 2021.
