Before joining BBL, Markus Birkmann worked in various regional law firms that focus on insolvency administration and restructuring advice. He worked at LB Rechtsanwaelte between 2009 and 2017 where he was a founding partner. Mr Birkmann has been an insolvency administrator since 2008 and has been a specialist lawyer for insolvency and restructuring law since 2011. He has extensive experience in restructuring companies and has been engaged by various insolvency courts in over 1,000 proceedings. Many companies have been successfully restructured thanks to Mr Birkmann’s professional expertise.
