Werder/Potsdam, 06.01.2018. The Schwielowsee hotel resort in Werder (Havel) was handed over to the new operators as planned at the beginning of 2018, announced the insolvency administrator Christian Graf Brockdorff from the law firm BBL Bernsau Brockdorff Insolvenz-und Zwangsverwalter GbR, which specializes in restructuring and insolvency. In July, the creditors‘ committee approved a purchase agreement with an experienced group of hotel investors from the publicly listed Primecity Investment Plc. and Precise Hotel Collection. The employees were informed about the handover at a staff meeting.
Brockdorff was pleased with the outcome of the bidding process for the Schwielowsee resort: „With the new owner, we have found a strategic investor with many years of experience in acquiring hotels and resorts. In future, the hotel will be managed by Precise Hotel Collection, which already runs numerous hotels throughout Germany. Thus, an important specification of the bidding procedure, namely the continuation of the Schwielowsee resort as an accommodation provider, was fulfilled.“
The ongoing business operations in the hotel complex, which has 122 double rooms, five suites, ten holiday homes as well as conference facilities, restaurants and 55 boat moorings, were taken over by an operating company (Resort Schwielowsee Betriebsgesellschaft mbH) at the end of 2015, which has been operating the hotel successfully for its own account ever since.
