Online shop Lesara to be restructured under self-administration / Christian Graf Brockdorff appointed as preliminary trustee

Berlin, 13 November. On 9 November 2018, the Management Board of the Lesara online shop filed for insolvency of Lesara AG and a German subsidiary. The competent insolvency court responded to the application for preliminary self-administration.

The online shop for fashion and lifestyle products is to be restructured with the support of existing and new investors. Roman Kirsch, founder and CEO of the company, has commissioned the Kübler law firm to provide advice on insolvency law. He will be supported by Tillmann de Vries and Thorsten Petersen.

At the shareholder’s recommendation, Christian Graf Brockdorff was appointed as preliminary administrator in both proceedings. The main duties of the preliminary administrator are to examine the debtor’s financial situation and to supervise the management of the company.

Christian Graf Brockdorff is co-founder of BBL Bernsau Brockdorff and has been active in the field of restructuring and insolvency in an advisory and administrative capacity for over 20 years. Among other things, he was insolvency administrator of the auction platform Auctionata and is one of the most frequently appointed administrators in Germany.
