Almost all employees will be retained – Buyer plans to set up a mobile nursing service in the Wunsiedel area

Chemnitz, 23.10.2017. Attorney at Law Dr. Christian Heintze of BBL Bernsau Brockdorff, a law firm focusing on insolvency and restructuring, has found a buyer for the insolvent nursing service Nikolaus Gloeckl. The Deutscher Orden is taking over the nursing service provider. Mr. Heintze had filed for insolvency at the district court in Hof. The owner of the Wunsiedel-based company passed away in July.

Initially as preliminary insolvency administrator and after the opening of the proceedings as insolvency administrator, Mr. Heintze led the business operations uninterrupted in the estate insolvency proceedings. Salaries were secured through funds made available by insolvency provisions. Existing nursing contracts will be continued and clients provided with high quality care. Mr. Heintze emphasizes: „The fact that this is possible is attributed to the dedication of the employees.“

The insolvency administrator further explains: „My goal was to ensure the continuation of the company by means of a transferring restructuring. With the Deutscher Orden we have found the ideal partner.“ Almost all jobs could be retained. The nursing provider Deutscher Orden is also based in Wunsiedel and is planning to establish a mobile nursing service. The acquisition of the service provider Nikolaus Gloeckl is a step towards offering such a mobile service.
