The Hildesheim District Court ordered preliminary insolvency administration over the assets of Domus Cura Pflegezentrum Hildesheim GmbH, a care centre, on 11 February 2026 following a corresponding application. The insolvency proceedings were opened on 13 March 2026, and Torsten Gutmann (PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH) was appointed insolvency administrator at the same time. Legal support for the proceedings on the debtor’s side was provided by lawyers Steffen Schneider and Georg Hüllen of BBL.
The insolvency proceedings were successfully concluded as part of an investor solution. The business operations were transferred by way of an asset deal to SWB care GmbH, based in Bühl, with effect from 14 March 2026. The acquiring company took over the business operations as well as the company’s assets. The employees, numbering more than 70, were also taken on. The care of the residents is therefore secured going forward.
Liquidity difficulties were the reason for the insolvency application. The company belongs to the Domus Cura Group, which operates several care facilities in Germany. The centre in Hildesheim was completed in February 2025.
