12 July 2018 Flensburg: The district court of Flensburg ordered the opening of preliminary insolvency proceedings over the assets of Nordland Transport & Logistik GmbH. The court appointed Mr. Justus von Buchwaldt as preliminary insolvency administrator. Mr. von Buchwaldt is a lawyer at BBL Bernsau Brockdorff, a law firm specializing in company restructuring and insolvency.
Together with his team, Mr. von Buchwaldt immediately conducted an assessment of the company in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current situation. The preliminary insolvency administrator explains: „We will continue business operations uninterrupted. To begin with, the current situation, I believe, is a good starting point for successful restructuring.“ Existing orders are being processed and new orders are accepted. The employees’ salaries are secured for the next three months through funds made available by insolvency provisions.
The transport company with headquarters in Harrislee is specialized in the transport of general cargo. The company has a workforce of 54 and in the previous financial year had a turnover of approximately 5.4 Million Euros.
Mr. von Buchwaldt is a restructuring expert and has already successfully restructured a number of transport companies. Recently he succeeded in selling the air freight company THS aircargo services GmbH.
