Attorney Marcus Winkler is preliminary insolvency administrator of IHP Service GmbH in the city of Ahorn

3. Juli 2018

Mosbach/Ahorn, July 3, 2018. IHP Service GmbH, a provider of industrial services, filed an application for the opening of insolvency proceedings with the local court in Mosbach last week. The court then appointed attorney Marcus Winkler of the German law firm BBL as preliminary insolvency administrator of the company.

Winkler is currently getting an overview of the economic situation of IHP Service and has already started talks with all the main parties involved. His goal is to put the company Ahorn back on a solid footing and to preserve as many jobs as possible. Together with his team, he is now examining all the restructuring options available to him.

„Our initial focus is on stabilizing IHP Service’s business operations,“ explains restructuring expert Winkler. As one of the first measures, the approximately 100 employees in Ahorn were today informed about the procedure and the next steps. Instead of their wages and salaries, they will in compensation receive insolvency money from the Federal Employment Agency until August 2018. An application has been made for pre-financing of the insolvency money.

Meanwhile, business operations will continue in full. The fact that IHP enjoys a very good reputation with its customers is positive, which is a prerequisite for further cooperation in the coming weeks and months.
